low hum....grrrrr
As I'm sitting here working at home, there is some large machine or truck or something creating a very low frequency yet persistent hum....that is slowly...getTTING... ON MY NERVES!!!!!!
GRRRRRRRRRRR.
even the pitter patter of rain on my sunroof or music in my earphones doesn't really drown it out....
update: it is some kind of big generator/pump at the end of my street. I've even tried inserting ear plugs....to no avail. Now it's all I hear, since apparently my earplugs are invisible to that frequency of sound. aaaaaaah

I totally understand your situation. I hate it, absolutly hate it when I hear constant high pitch noises. Funny thing, there are just some poeple like me and you who hear them and those who don't will try to convince you that it is noy ANNOYING!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
