Grand Central!

This is Grand Central Station in all its grandeur. I took 5 different exposures and overlaid them in photoshop to obtain good detail in all the different regions, both bright and dark. HDR, so to speak. And oh...Merry Christmas (even if you're not Christian...i figure it's still nice to be wished merry Christmas even if it's not your faith. I was happy when a jew in NYC wished me Happy Hannukah!)

Top of the Rock

This is a composite of three photos of lower Manhattan from the top of the Rockefeller Centre. The beauty of travelling solo and not having anything formally planned is that you can just wait for the nicest day to do things that require good weather!

Liberty from Battery Park

On my first full day in New York City I went walking...unfortunately it was also the coldest and windiest day. I was pretty chilly taking this picture. It is a composite of three separate exposures to get good detail in every part of the image.

This is a picture of the Rockefeller Center in New York City. Taken with a tripod before the security guy told me I couldn't use it. I went on holiday there last week. It was awesome! I saw two of my favourite people, and visited the city. I wish i could be a professional tourist! Hello Lonely Planet?
